A graduate of McMaster University (Canada) with a BA in English Literature, Roger began his career as an English instructor in 2004, teaching high school English and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) lessons in Northern England.
After working for six years in the UK (and acquiring a CELTA qualification and British teaching license) Roger returned to Canada and taught English at ILAC, one of Toronto’s largest schools.
Since 2014, he has been teaching English at universities in Japan, beginning with Kanagawa University, followed by J.F. Oberlin University, and currently at Tokyo Metropolitan University.
The knowledge and confidence acquired by Roger over the past sixteen years make him ideally suited to helping you achieve your learning goals, no matter what aspects of English you are trying to improve.
